''The Mushroom Spirit''
As you enter Spirit Wood - a community nestled between a green deciduous forest and a giant mushroom forest - everything seems a bit too quiet. Nobody is outside other than some small forest critters. You hear a creaking noise and see a door open in one house fashioned from a thick red and white mushroom. A small, old lady looks hard at you and then motions for you to come inside. As you do, she closes the door behind you. She is an Avila - an elvish folk - with long pointed ears and nose.
"Please, you appear to be kind people. Just a few moments ago, some cruel Spirit Hunters came through here with the goal of killing our great protector spirit, Morba. Will you consider stopping them?"
''!! Choose [[help the hunters destroy Morba->Mushroom Battle]] or [[try to stop the Hunters and protect Morba->Help Mushroom]].''You leave the house without a word and head out into the mushroom forest. As you reach the meeting spot, you see the Hunters have already began fighting the Mushroom Spirit, but they are struggling. You join the fray and fight hard! Before long, the battle has ended, and you feel an energy enter your body. While it was a struggle, you gained power from the encounter.
''!! Each Character takes 2 damage, gains 1 level-up, and 2 Tenacity.''
The forest suddenly becomes darker than before. You feel the rush fading from your body as you rest and recover. The Spirit Hunters officially invite you to their guild, saying "This is only the beginning! Next we face the Marshland Spirit."
''!! Travel to Spirit Marshes, and then [[continue->Marshland Spirit A]].''To the Hunters' surprise, you come against them and drive them off. They shout curses as they flee.
You celebrate with the community at Spirit Wood, joining in dance, song, food and drink! Morba, the Mushroom Spirit, tells you the Hunters are part of a movement of anti-spirit revolution and will continue to hunt the Great Spirits of the world if someone does not stop them. But be warned, the Hunters now consider you an enemy as well.
''!! Gain 1 Quest Point!
!! Each Character gains 2 Gold!
!! Travel to Spirit Marshes, then [[continue here->Marshland Spirit B]].''You rush out of the bushes and attack the Marshland Spirit. It is surprisingly easy to dispatch and you take no damage. But you must prepare for the next battle, as you are told the Woodland Spirit is much more powerful.
''!! Once you have at least 12 Quest Points, Travel to Little Hollow, then [[continue here->Evil Final Battle]].''You betray your guildmates! The Marshland Spirit addresses you, "I am grateful for your assistance. You made a mistake before, but I see you may have changed. Please accept my gift."
''!! Gain 3 Quest Points!
!! Once you have at least 12 Quest Points, Travel to Little Hollow, then [[continue here->Conflicted Final Battle]].''You walked away from the situation. You feel a sense of shame for your inaction, but are not sure what you could have done differently. However, it's not too late to do something - you know where the final Great Spirit is.
''!! Once you have at least 12 Quest Points, Travel to Little Hollow, then [[continue here->Conflicted Final Battle]].''Barely surving, you destroy the Great Woodland Spirit, becoming the greatest Spirit Hunters in the world. Henceforth, all spirits will fear you throughout the land. The Spirit Hunter's Guild rewards you handsomely and you earn high status among them.
''You Win!''You fight alongside the Hunters to destroy the Woodland Spirit, requiring many wounds in the process. You barely escape the forest with your own life. Even though you helped the Hunters in this final battle, they still see you as an enemy of their Guild. You may also never walk among the spirits again. Having enemy among people and spirit kind, you now need to travel to a faraway land to start a new life.
''You Lose''You aid the Woodland Spirit against the Hunters. The Spirit binds them, sends them out of the forest and speaks to you, "Thank you for your help. You made some difficult decisions, and had some rocky times along the way. Nevertheless, you made the best choices you could with the information you had. You have become friends of Spirits. But watch your back, because the Hunters tend to hold grudges."
''You Win!''By stopping the Hunters and protecting the three Great Spirits, you have become a friend to all Spirits everywhere! But watch your back, because the Hunters tend to hold grudges.
''You Win!''You drive off the Hunters once more. The Marshland Spirit thanks you for your help and grants you a blessing.
''!! Gain 3 Quest Points!
!! Once you have at least 12 Quest Points, travel to Little Hollow, then [[continue->Good Final Battle]].''''Spirits at Odds''
Adventure for Travelers of Tryphosa, Cooperative Mode

The world is filled with spirits of all kinds - lesser and greater ones, some good, some evil, and everything in between. The greater nature spirits - such as the Mushroom, Cedar and Marshland spirits - protect the creatures and plants native to their land. However, not everyone is fond of them, and some even say these spirits do harm to the world.
Starting Town: Wood Shrine
[[Continue->Ruckus]]''Ruckus at the Shrine''
Ah, the Wood Shrine! A place of healing and rest for weary travelers. You are in the middle of a journey from the great northern city of Windar to Centralia, to look for new opportunities for work and trade. But there is no need to push on through the night, so you have stopped here to take up shelter and enjoy the food and entertainment available at one of the many shrine-themed inns.
The Shrine began long ago as just that - a small place of worship where creatures from the surrounding regions would bring offerings of berries and nuts to the spirits out of gratitude for their protection. Over time, it thrived and became its own community and a place where travelers could rest and recuperate.
Given that, it came as no small surprise to you and everyone else when a small band of rugged-looking folk began shouting and knocking offerings off the small shrine in the middle of the room. This did not last long as three large Tree Sprites surrounded them and escorted them outside. The group, while disrespectful, did seem to have some purpose, and you cannot help but be curious, so you go outside to speak with them.
The group is talking amongst themselves. As you approach, a couple of them smile and beckon you closer.
"Greetings, Travelers!" the tallest among them says, "Come hear our purpose so you may join our quest!" You quickly get acquainted and the group tells you they are called Spirit Hunters. They tell you the evil Mushroom Spirit has been tormenting all who travel through the grove on the east side of the Fungal river. They seek to destroy the spirit and gain its powers and ask you to meet them at Spirit Wood. But you must ensure you have trained a little while in order to complete this task.
''!! Once you have 3 or more Quest Points, travel to Spirit Wood. Then [[continue here->Mushroom Spirit]].''''The Marshland Spirit''
You arrive at Spirit Marshes and head to the meetup point. Your fellow Hunters lead you through difficult terrain until you find the Great Spirit, although it's smaller than you expected. You hide in some tall bushes and observe the spirit for a while - it calmly stands in the centre of a dry area, feeding native birds that have gathered around. You realize at that moment that the Marshland Spirit may be harmless - perhaps even helpful - to the creatures of this land.
''!! Choose [[join the hunters and attack the Marshland Spirit->Marshland Battle]], [[walk away from the situation->Shame]], or [[turn against your fellow Hunters in order to save the Marshland Spirit->Betrayal]].''
''The Marshland Spirit''
You find the Hunters fighting the Great Marshland Spirit and losing once again. One of them is already face-down on the ground and the others continue to fight exhausted. However, the Spirit is severely wounded as well, and there is no telling who will win this battle.
''!! Choose [[drive off the Spirit to protect the Hunters->Change of Heart]], [[drive off the Hunters to help the Marshland Spirit->Help Marshland]], or [[walk away from the situation->Shame]].''''The Woodland Spirit''
You enter Little Hollow and begin searching the darkest woods for the Great Woodland Spirit. You wander for hours, and begin to think you will never find it. Suddenly, you feel a chill run down your spine as the forest becomes surreally dark, and the Spirit descends upon you, saying, "You have acted shamefully! Prepare to feel my wrath."
You are terrified! You begin to get pumelled from all sides as the Spirit commands the trees to throw down their branches. You defend yourself as long as you can, but realize you ultimately may determine the course of events. One one hand, the Spirit attacked you. On the other hand, you have indeed provoked it and entered its territory.
''!! Choose [[work with the Hunters to fight back and destroy the Woodland Spirit->Enemies on All Sides]] or [[knock out the Hunters and surrender to the Woodland Spirit in remorse->Trending Spirit Friend]].''To the Hunters surprise, you drive off the Marshland Spirit, potentially saving their lives. They sheepishly thank you for your help and ask for further assistance to destroy the Woodland Spirit.
''!! Once you have at least 12 Quest Points, Travel to Little Hollow, then [[continue here->Conflicted Final Battle]].''''The Woodland Spirit''
You enter Little Hollow and begin searching the darkest woods for the Great Woodland Spirit. You wander for hours, and begin to think you will never find it. After a long while, you feel a presence, neither melevolant nor benevolant. You hear the Spirit's voice ask, "Why have you entered my woods? Are you like these other people who have attacked my own, or are you the ones who protected my kin?" You then see the Spirit take indescribable form before you - it is both terrible and beautiful.
Suddenly from behind the Spirit, you hear the roar of the entire band of Spirit Hunters - about 11 of them - as they swing their swords and shoot their bows at the Spirit. It seems somewhat surprised and turns to fight. It commands the trees to pummel the Hunters with their branches. You watch a terrible battle ensue - while there is no sure result, you are quite certain the people will lose to this powerful Spirit.
''!! Choose [[attack the Woodland Spirit to turn the tide->Justifiable Reaction]] or [[join the Woodland Spirit in battle against the Hunters->Friend of Spirits]].''''The Woodland Spirit''
You meet your fellow Hunters at Little Hollow and begin searching the darkest woods for the Woodland Spirit. You wander for hours, till you think you may never find it. Suddenly, you feel a chill run down your spine as the forest becomes surreally dark, and the Spirit descends upon you in a rage. You hear a voice saying, "You have destroyed my brethren, and now I shall do likewise to you!"
You are terrified! You get pumelled from all sides as the Spirit commands trees to throw their branches to aid their Spirit friend. This is the most powerful Spirit you have encountered.
''!! Choose [[give it your all and fight the Woodland Spirit->The Great Spirit Hunters]] or [[change your mind, and try to win the Woodland's Spirit' favour by attacking your fellow Hunters->Onslaught]].''As you attack the Woodland Spirit, it realizes there is no way for a fight like this to end well. It binds everyone up in brambles and speaks, "You who are friends of Spirits - you helped my kin before - yet you have now defended your own kind. This is a justifiable response, and I see good in you. You must all leave the forest now. Go on your way, in peace."
At this point, most of the Hunters' group has been killed, and they take the opportunity to escape.
While you had to make some difficult decisions, and had some rocky times along the way, you made the best choices you could with the information you had. You have become friends of Spirits. And even the Hunters do not hold a grudge since you aided them in their final hour. They also don't dare hunt the Spirits any longer.
''You Win!''The other hunters are bewildered when you attack them but they react immediately and fight back. The Woodland Spirit seems unswayed by your disloyalty and continues the onslaught. Nobody survives.
''You Lose''
